The Cat Writers Association (CWA) celebrates 30 years ” of educating cat communicators next month.” I was a member for five of those years while writing and publishing my Windrusher novels. Not long ago, the CWA VP asked if I would present a workshop on writing the cat memoir for their October conference. Now, there’s a question I hadn’t been asked before. I explained that I didn’t write cat memoirs but could speak about writing biographies and memoirs and put a feline slant to it. The title of my talk will be “How to Create a Literary Legacy for You and Your Cat.” This will be a virtual conference, and my talk is on Saturday, October 19, at 10:05 a.m. You don’t have to be a cat writer to attend the conference.
