The Clay County Writers group has invited me to present an adrenaline-fueled workshop on writing the thriller. Today’s thriller novels plunge the reader into a world of non-stop action and intense conflict. During my presentation, I’ll discuss the seven essential elements of a thriller, identify the differences between mysteries and thrillers, and illustrate the best ways to add tension and conflict.
