In celebration of Family History Month, the Beaches Museum in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, invited me to present a workshop on writing a family history as part of its Boardwalk Talk series. As the author of a dozen biographies and family histories, I’ll share what I’ve learned about capturing memories and transferring them into a written narrative. The title of my talk is “How to Save Your History and Write Your Life Story.” The Boardwalk Talk is scheduled for Thursday, October 24, at 6:30 p.m. The program is free and open to the public.
